We had a large group (18) stay at the house for four nights, and we had an incredible time at this gorgeous luxurious mansion. There was plenty of space for all of our guests, and could have fit a few more if needed. We took full advantage of the pool, cabana, kayaks, and gazebo, all of which were well-maintained and clean. The property was beautifully landscape and maintained daily by the on-site caretaker, who also took care of garbage on a daily basis. The theater room was cozy and quiet, and the massive kitchen/dining area was perfect for large gatherings. The house is close to several nice golf courses which we took advantage of, as well as only 25 minutes away from the casino and downtown Tampa. We would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking to get away and spend time in a beautiful and relaxing Italian-style villa just north of Tampa Bay.
We rented Villa Adriana for a vacation with extended family, and it was a wonderful home to spend 9 days in! The house is beautiful with an over-the-top sound and entertainment system. It was very well maintained and very clean when we arrived, and the owners were extremely responsive to the smallest request. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and dishes (unlike some vacation homes), and with spices as well, so it was easy to cook in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool and fishing off the walkway to the gazebo. The house was an easy drive from some nice golf courses. Overall a wonderful stay!
Three families (six parents and six twenty-somethings) from the UK, AZ and PA selected Villa Adriana as a meeting point for a week of chilling and bonding. What a fantastic place for a family gathering. The property is truly exotic and we all felt like we were at a very special place. It is palatial in size, detail and appointments. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and being lakefront provided magnificent views. The house is very clean and it sits safely in a gated compound. Groups would hang out in the theater, the patio, the lanai, the front garden, poolside, the bar and the dock (a beautiful, sheltered seating area on the pier, surrounded by water, that has music and lighting!) - everybody found their favorite spot. The gourmet kitchen was a fun staging area for large gatherings to prepare meals. We even utilized a local chef to prepare and serve breakfast. The property has been featured in many advertisement photo shoots so one creative family member had a local photographer come over to shoot portraits, giving all of us a chance to be models!! We wound up preparing most of our meals since we enjoyed the house and the kitchen so much and the grocery stores are very convenient. Of course there are great restaurants nearby and we particularly enjoyed the pizza restaurant recommended by the host. The hosts deserve special mention - they are very caring and take pride in making sure you have a good time and enjoy your stay. Initially we were apprehensive about Tampa as a destination but we learned quickly that the entertainment parks of Orlando are a reasonable drive away and the beautiful beaches of Clearwater are also very close. Again we discovered that we wanted to spend more time at Villa Adriana and we still did not get to do everything. We all would love to go back!
Breathtaking is an understatement in regards to this estate. From the time you approach the entrance gate, you are greeted by beautifully manicured landscaping that leads to the home, with such impressive architectural design. The photos of the kitchen do not do it justice. It is so spacious that a family of 12+ can gather very comfortably. The pool area, gazebo and lake are so inviting that you do not want or need to leave the property. Dara has been extremely cooperative and accommodating. He will do anything he can do make your stay exactly as you wish.
The amenities specifically the pool area and the lake views were so great that we never wanted to leave. We got a complete Florida vacation and European retreat all in one place. The Hosts made sure we could book two massage therapists, allowing us to relax and enjoy our vacation. The bathrooms were very clean ( three of them had toilets with built in bidets that washed and blow dried-very convenient). The beds were comfortable and the sheets smelled good. The wall finishing are unbelievable such a sight to behold. The ceiling gave us the feel that we were in a palace in Europe built by some King in years gone by. Did i mention the ceiling??The master bedroom ceiling has 28,000 Swarovski crystals set in an intricate design that made my wife feel like a queen. My favorite place to hang out is the home theater. Its unbelievable!! The lounge chairs around the pool, kayaking, and the fuzz ball table adds so much fun and entertainment to our family vacation. The owners stocked the refrigerator with ample supply of water and beverages for the whole family. This home has got to be a one of a king masterpiece. Don't tell the owners but I think they had it under priced (LOL). The vicinity is serene yet grocery shopping is conveniently within distance. Restaurants are close by as well. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very polite and hospitable. In a nutshell, this house was over the top and we had a memorable and wonderful vacation. It's just a week since we left and the hosts have already sent back our security deposit.
I have never seen a house like this. It looks like a museum. Everything is the best possible. The owner is so nice to deal with. It worth every penny. It is great for a luxury family gathering or a dream vacation. I love to go back and stay there again.
Amazing from the beginning to the end. I knew we were in for something special as soon as I saw the pictures. But the house is even more spectacular in person. I guess there are just some things you cannot capture in pictures. Lots of things to do at this house. But best of all, the owners refunded our damage deposit monies within 3 days. I will go back again. And when my daughter gets married, it will be at this house.
The villa Adriana surpassed out expectation, absolute gorgeous property & wonderful /cooperative service from both owner Dara, his Wife, & Simon the happy easy going maintenance gentleman . The pool is so lovely & very clean. Simon makes his rounds early morning to clean up the pool. The open kitchen is a such an gem to cook at overlooking the lake & central to the dining & living areas. We enjoyed the steam room too situated in the master bathroom. We definitely would rent this lovely property again . Thank you to Dara & Simon for making our stay super comfortable . Ps: Walmart is only 5 minutes drive for all your shopping . Regards, Peggy
This was a great place. We had a large group, and Dara was very accommodating. It was conveniently located, private, and had great amenities. We would stay here again in a heart beat!
We left Disney and headed to Villa Adriana with our 11 year old theme park junky. I knew from the pictures that I would love our stay but was skeptical that she would. Let me just say, she was in love. She asked if we could do it again next year and skip Disney. Every detail of the hidden palace was amazing. From the owners of the property, who made us feel immediately at home, to the location that gave the feeling of truly being in your own little world, and the grounds that gave you the feeling that you had entered paradise. The pool and outdoor kitchen were as big a hit as the theatre room. I myself loved the home office, gourmet kitchen, wifi, and surround sound system indoor and out. We rented two jets ski's that were delivered and were even able to enjoy the lake. I am a writer and let me just say, it was truly an inspirational stay. Thank you so much Dara. <3 MJ Fields
I rented this home for my parents' 50th Anniversary weekend because we needed room for the whole family to stay. The home is gorgeous and Dara is the perfect host. We had a wonderful time and there was plenty to do on the property whether you are young or old! The pool is perfect and the use of the canoe and kayaks was great! They even had fishing equipment that we used every day! The house has a phenomenal kitchen that we put to good use for most of our meals. The property is in a good location and close to many of the highways you might access in North Tampa. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property! Dara was always in communication with us and sensitive to our needs.
